I’m a multidisciplinary artist who finds joy and meaning in challenging myself through each new idea. Creating feels natural to me, but I’m driven by the urge to question, to observe closely, and to make visible what often goes unspoken. My work often arises from personal anxieties and social discomforts—moments that make me ask, “If I don’t say anything, how can we pause and reflect?” Art is my way of processing, but also of inviting others to examine what lies beneath the surface.

My first solo show, Mami Inc., was a turning point in my journey. A mixed media series centered around photographic images printed on fabric, it explored the emotional and physical labor of mothers and housewives in Puerto Rico’s patriarchal society. Inspired by my own mother, each piece incorporated everyday domestic materials to highlight often-dismissed realities and spark necessary dialogue.

My most recent solo exhibition, Nueva Flora, used polymer clay and discarded materials to recreate coral forms inspired by Puerto Rican reefs, while reflecting on the environmental consequences of overconsumption. Though that work focused on nature, I remain committed to examining how consumerism and the culture it sustains can lead us to increasingly absurd and unsustainable extremes.
